In Rome, explore Vatican City, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain before continuing to Florence, home to Renaissance highlights like the Uffizi Gallery, Florence Cathedral and Ponte Vecchio. Travel through the Italian countryside to Venice, then cross into Switzerland for time in Interlaken, taking in sweeping mountain views from Harder Kulm and a trip up to the Jungfrau. The journey wraps in Lucerne with a ride on the steep cog railway up Mount Pilatus, offering wide-reaching views over lakes and peaks.
