Ancient imperial cities, Saharan dunes and winding medina streets. This journey through Morocco moves from the bustling souks of Marrakech to the sacred heart of Fès, with the Atlas Mountains and desert landscapes in between.
Starting in Marrakech with a guided tour of the Menara Gardens, Bahia Palace and the bustling Plaza de Jemaa el-Fnaa, before departing for Casablanca, Rabat and the imperial city of Meknes en route to Fès. Spend a full day exploring Fès's ancient medina, Royal Palace and the medieval streets of Fès el-Bali. Continue through the Middle Atlas mountains via Ifrane and Midelt to reach Erfoud, gateway to the Saharan dunes of Erg Chebbi. Head through the gorges of Todra to Ouarzazate, before crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Mountain Pass and passing the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou on the return to Marrakech.
